Background

I have been designing and industrializing resilient, sovereign information systems for more than twenty years. I formalized that experience in TEAF: a continuous loop connecting an architecture decision to its actual execution, rather than a document that ages between two audits.

I work in enterprise architecture, shared technical leadership (Fractional CTO) and AI transformation, from strategy through to operations. Engagements are international and remote, in French and English.

What I do

  • Audit & diagnostic: information-system mapping, maturity, GDPR and AI Act compliance.
  • Target architecture: urbanization, roadmap, traced architecture decisions.
  • AI transformation: strategy, enterprise RAG, agents, governance and cost control.
  • Fractional CTO: strategic trade-offs, supplier management, architecture boards.
  • Platform engineering and edge: CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code, IoT.

16 sourced articles

The Knowledge Center covers architecture, AI, governance and the CTO's role, with sources at the end of each article.

A training platform

Paths by TEAF role, a deterministically graded quiz and a TEAF Light attestation, on the framework's site.

Two online tools

A seven-level maturity diagnostic and a scoping questionnaire that produces a structured brief.

How I work

Say what is established, and what is not

TEAF qualifies every finding on four levels: declared, observed, inferred, validated. I apply the same rule to myself. The orders of magnitude shown on this site come from earlier projects and are not a commitment: results depend on each organization's context, scope and starting point. The online tools give an indication, not an audit.

Each engagement moves in phases, with deliverables at the end of each, and none starts before the previous one is stable. The first conversation is free.

About references

The organizations that served as TEAF's field remain anonymous, by choice. What the feedback confirms, and what it does not yet prove, is detailed in the article What TEAF has proven in the field. The framework itself is presented as work under validation, not as an established result.

Who contracts, and under what terms

Consulting is carried out by IND UM Conseil et Technologies, the sole proprietorship of Mathieu URBITSCH registered in Québec (Québec business number 2269903961, searchable in the business register).
